Breathing New Life Into an Iconic & Stylish Watch Brand: Sindaco Watches Are Coming Back With Style!

The roots of Sindaco watches can be traced all the way back to the 1930s, although the writings of the company’s history are scarce on the internet. What was not scarce is their ability to create watches with beautiful style. The founder and Director of Sindaco watches was a pioneering gentleman named Peter Haas. Peter Haas was known for his revolutionary approach to watchmaking, blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative design. His vision for Sindaco extended beyond the realm of horology, as he sought to create a lasting legacy of timeless timepieces that would be cherished for generations to come. The portfolio of the said pioneer, Peter Haas, included several watch brands, each representing a unique facet of his creative versatility. Through Sindaco, he began to pursue his policy of building universally accessible watches for different occasions, aiming to cater to the diverse needs and tastes of watch enthusiasts around the world.

An exciting new part of this legacy is The Sindaco Watch Company being brought back to life. With a rich and vibrant history, the company has always been synonymous with timeless elegance and precision craftsmanship. Now, as it enters this new chapter, it brings with it a renewed sense of creativity and innovation. The captivating new designs not only pay homage to the classic aesthetic that has defined the brand but also pave the way for a bold new era of watchmaking. While still keeping to the vision of Peter Haas of embracing current technologies, and always reaching to create stunning style with its designs, the company is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of luxury timepieces.

Another exciting part of the story is I have the unique privilege of being heavily involved in their design. As I collaborate with the talented team behind Sindaco Watches, I am driven by the opportunity to contribute to the creation of timepieces that will endure for years to come. This involvement allows me to infuse my passion for design and my devotion to craftsmanship into each and every watch, ensuring that they not only tell time but also tell a story of artistry and dedication.

I have been given permission to write about and give a sneak peek of just one of my forthcoming exciting designs. I hope you enjoy this brief preview of an exciting new chapter to come!

Kind regards, Jay

  1. Thinking in terms of a watch that could actually last to be handed down over generations is unreal. I have had an Apple watch for the past five years, and it’s life is about three years. Your enjoyment of not only design but the process is truly exciting to witness. Well done, my friend.

    1. Thank you Dayle for your great and positive words, I sincerely appreciate them😊. Your Apple watch is lasting well then, considering their lifespan. Yes, I do love this. For me it is about creating things to last, even beyond us, objects that are cherished and almost develop character and memory with you. It is also about iconic style, and maybe because I am a child of the 70s, I just love the style of that decade. It was all so cool, and still is in my humble opinion. Thank you again Dayle. Kind regards, Jay😊

  2. Nice to know that Apple Watches don’t have that long of a lifespan, because I won’t ponder any longer if I should get one! 😂 I agree with you how you say as well you want to create something that lasts. 😊 There’s so many things like that nowadays that just don’t, and you really feel like you’re wasting your money. Love your designs as always, Jay! 😊 🙏

    1. Hi Laura😊. Well, together it looks like we have maybe all saved you some money, and time, on that decision👍. I think it is better for all if our things last longer. of course the big corporations don’t want that…they just want your money! Thank you Laura for your positive support🙏, I am glad you like it! Kind regards…Jay😊

      1. Right? I had a brand name refrigerator that crapped out after only 4 years… 4 years?! Meanwhile there are appliances that last 50 or more years. Just annoying how they make things to fail nowadays 😩

        1. They certainly do Laura. My last washing machine, before the one I have now, lasted about 2.5 years before it just completely fell apart!…& I treated it well, I am sure🤔. And the production line keeps on rolling💰🤑💰

    1. Thank you MagickMermaid for your positive support😊. I am glad you like it. Yes, I too agree, planned obsolescence is here to stay I fear, it keeps those big corporate wheels-a-rolling. On an individual level we can choose the other path, and I try to as much as possible. You are right, being part of a project like this is thrilling, it keeps me motivated! Thanks again & kind regards…Jay😊
