My Waterloo Watch Design Makes it to Brummell Magazine – the Little Black Book for the City of London

It was a nice surprise to receive an email today from a colleague advising me that The Waterloo Watch I designed and modelled for Pinchbeck, and the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch, had made it into the ‘Brummell’ magazine – a ‘little black book’ and lifestyle magazine distributed throughout the ‘City of London’, the heart of Europe’s financial community.

The 2024 Waterloo special limited-edition watch. All designed, modelled, and rendered in Blender 4.0

It is always encouraging and spiritually rewarding to receive such things, especially with a design project such as this one, as all of the proceeds are going to a great charitable cause. I do put a lot of work and personal hours into all of my designs, sometimes long and quite lonesome work, but of course it is work I thoroughly enjoy😊. But it is still nice to receive signs such as this to know it is appreciated.

The Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch is being held on the 18th of April, so there is still plenty of time if you would like to get involved and win this beautiful watch – A Limited Edition of only one!

You can click on one of the images above to read the quoted article or find out more information on how you can buy a ticket and enter. Or you can click on the Big Curry Lunch logo image below to go straight to the Waterloo Watch raffle ticket page. All proceeds from this raffle draw and the event of the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch are raised to support Veterans of the HM armed forces and their families in times of need.

I hope you all have a great day good people😊👍

Kind regards, Jay

        1. Good stuff…I am pleased you are well Laura😊. Ah…the grass is always greener isn’t it, it is starting to get sunny here, every now and again, but there is still a chill in the wind and lots of rain! I could so with some sun for sure.

          1. Sounds like a good plan Laura👍, I think I would make a rubbish nurse though so not sure I could fulfil that part of the deal😄. Yes the plan is still on the books, my Son is heavy into exams preparing for university, so as soon as we get a long enough break, hoping the summertime this year!
