This is what I did for fun Today…made my cosmos flower window!

Good morning good people! Well I am what is often called a Blenderhead, I love to create, and I love to create 3D art, it is kind of what I do. My son is a mathematician, so we often discuss geometry, math, and how math underpins everything, even us. So I kind of developed a fascination for geometry and geometric rose windows. Last week I set about putting together what are called geometry-nodes to help me create my own rose window designs…and here is my first one from that geometry-node set. I call it the Cosmos Flower Window, as it is based on the ‘Cosmos Flower'(8 petals):

I am now going to go write a blog about how I made it and what is involved, that is not so much fun for me, as I am not really a writer :/, I am more image based, but I am trying to make myself become a writer, so I am persevering! 🙂

My favourite sport to do is:

Arm Wrestling!!!…

Yes I love to arm wrestle! My son got me into it and I am quite late into the sport, as I am not in my 20’s anymore, but I love it and quite good at it, my Son is now beating me as he is 17, nearly 18, and full of gusto….but I can hold my own! I used to do a few martial arts, but took too many hits and had too many hernia’s for my liking, so at least now I don’t get hit in the face or body :).

Play Guitar!…

Yes I have played since I was 11, so have played for several decades now. Inspired by Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan(Just the best!), and Johnny Winter, I took up the Guitar after having a bad head injury and being laid up and laid off school for sometime, it was something I wanted to learn and never looked back.

Philosophy!…

Yes I like to talk philosophy. My Son and I talk for long periods while we walk and try to answer the questions of life and attempt to seek truth. As I mentioned my Son is also a mathematician and just loves numbers, so we try and tie everything together. Not sure how close we get, but we can only get part way to the door, as in this life we do not have full disclosure….I think! 🙂

Listen to Music!…

Yes, what is not to enjoy about music really, it can transform your mood in an instant. Right now I am listening to Jean-Michel Jarre. Every year my Son and I go To Bloodstock Metal Festival; an awesome festival in the UK, very heavy, Death Metal I think you could say, and this year we saw my Son’s favourite band….MESHUGGAH!

I have to admit Meshuggah are the best band I have ever seen live, and I have seen many, they are truly an experience that you must see while on this planet!

Okay that is it for me for this blog, the blog about my Cosmos Window will now have to wait until this afternoon after toilet, lunch, and gym as I wrote for longer than I expected.
