The Tardigrade Takes The Trophy!

I love all animals, they are great, what is not to like? They live their life, generally within balance of nature (unlike some species I can think of, although we are still animals of course!), and animals are fascinating, interesting, and vast in variance. But to pick a favourite it has to be the Tardigrade!

The Tardigrade is just the most unique and fascinating super-animal, I won’t do it justice so the best thing is just to go Google it and read all the fascinating facts about it. But the Tardigrade is extreme…it can withstand extreme variations in temperature, pressure, not eating, the list goes on when you look into the detail. The Tardigrade can withstand being in outer space, impacts of up to 900 metres per second. The Tardigrade is pretty much indestructible, and will most probably be around long after we have gone.
